The word permanent gets used loosely when it comes to markers. Most permanent markers are permanent in the sense that they are difficult to remove from paper — but expose them to water, bleach, acetone, or prolonged sunlight and the limitations become apparent quickly. The Uni Super Ink Marker PNA-125 takes a different approach. This is a marker built around an oil-based pigment ink formulation that is genuinely, comprehensively permanent — resistant to water, fading, abrasion, bleach, and acetone. It is one of the very few markers available that can make that claim honestly.

The ink is pigment-based and oil-based, which is the foundation of its exceptional durability. Pigment inks are significantly more lightfast than dye-based inks, which is why the Super Ink remains fade-free even on surfaces exposed to prolonged light. The oil base is what gives it resistance to bleach and acetone — chemicals that dissolve or strip most conventional marker inks with ease. Once dry on most surfaces, Super Ink simply stays put.

The tip is a fine bullet nib producing a 0.9mm line — precise enough for labelling, writing, and detailed marking work, but with a bullet profile that can be angled for slightly broader coverage when needed. The line is clean, consistent, and skip-free across a remarkable range of surfaces including paper, card, fabric, denim, leather, glass, CD and DVD surfaces, metal, plastic, and most materials encountered in garden, household, and light industrial marking applications.

Available in black only. Sold individually. Plastic-free packaging.

What surfaces does the Uni Super Ink Marker work on? It works on paper, card, fabric, leather, glass, metal, plastic, CDs and DVDs, and most surfaces used in garden, household, and industrial marking. The oil-based pigment ink bonds to a very wide range of surfaces, including many that water-based markers struggle with.

Is it really resistant to bleach and acetone? Yes — this is one of the most distinctive qualities of the Super Ink formulation and one that very few markers can match. The oil-based ink resists attack from bleach and acetone, making it genuinely permanent in situations where conventional permanent markers would fail.

Can it be used on fabric? Yes — including laundry marking, where resistance to repeated washing is essential. The pigment ink bonds to fabric fibres and resists fading and washing in a way that dye-based markers do not.

What tip size does the PNA-125 have? A fine bullet tip producing a 0.9mm line — suitable for labelling, writing, and detailed marking work. The bullet profile can be angled slightly for a broader mark when needed.
