Felting

Needle felting is one of the most tactile and sculptural of all fibre crafts — using a barbed needle to compress and tangle wool fibres together until they bond into a firm, dense material. No heat, no water, no knitting — just needle and wool, and the results can be as simple as a flat picture or as complex as a three-dimensional figure.

We stock Corriedale felting wool in a wide range of colours — one of the most popular fibres for needle felting, with a good balance of softness and felting speed. Alongside the wool we carry felting needles in different gauges, multi-needle tools for faster coverage, and foam felting pads to work on. For beginners, we stock complete starter kits that include everything needed to complete a first project.

Needle felting is suitable for all ages and requires no previous crafting experience to get started — it is a particularly good craft for children and adults alike who enjoy working with their hands.
