A 2m roll of sequin fabric in a 28cm width — the kind of thing that is immediately useful for Christmas decorations, costume trims, table runners, wreath embellishment, gift wrapping, and any seasonal project where a concentrated hit of sparkle is what is needed. The narrow roll format means you get a useful working length without the commitment of full fabric yardage, and 2m covers a lot of ground for most craft applications.

Available in two colourways. The Gold/Silver variant is flip sequin — the sequins are reversible, changing between gold and silver depending on which direction you brush them. Running your hand one way reveals gold; the other way reveals silver. The effect is striking and has become a mainstay of Christmas craft projects and party decorations. The Silver variant is sequinned on a silver ground throughout — no flip, consistent silver coverage on both sides.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does flip sequin fabric work?

Flip sequin (also called reversible or mermaid sequin) fabric has sequins that pivot on a central point. Brushing the sequins in one direction reveals one colour; brushing them the other way reveals the second colour. On the Gold/Silver variant, this means you can switch between a gold finish and a silver finish simply by running your hand across the surface. The effect is permanent — you choose which colour shows at any time.

What is the Silver variant?

The Silver roll has silver sequins throughout — not flip sequin. Both sides of the fabric have the same silver finish. It is the simpler option for projects where a consistent silver sequin surface is what you need without the reversible effect.

What can I use a 2m × 28cm sequin roll for?

The narrow 28cm width suits ribbon-scale applications — wreath decoration, garland trim, table runner inserts, stair banister wrapping, costume sashes, gift bow alternatives, and craft projects where a strip of sequin fabric adds impact. At 2m you have enough length to work with generously on most of these applications.

Can it be cut?

Yes — sequin fabric can be cut with scissors. The edges will not fray in the traditional fabric sense, though some sequins at the cut edge may come loose. Applying a line of fabric glue or fray stop to the cut edge before use will prevent this.

Is it suitable for clothing?

The 28cm width limits its use in garment construction to trims and inserts rather than main panels. It works well as a decorative band, neckline trim, or costume accent. For full garment panels, full-width sequin fabric is available separately.
