Polymorph Moldable Plastic Pellets

What is Polymorph?

Polymorph is a fantastic moldable plastic that comes as small white pellets. Think of it as "magic plastic" that becomes soft and moldable when heated with warm water, then hardens back into strong plastic when it cools down. It's perfect for making custom parts, repairs, prototypes, crafts, and countless DIY projects.  Its also biodegradable in soil.

Key Benefits:

  • Reusable forever - Heat it up and reshape it as many times as you want
  • Safe to use - Works with just warm water (no dangerous chemicals)
  • Strong when cool - Hardens into durable plastic that won't break easily
  • Easy to customize - Can be painted, dyed, or colored while soft
  • Versatile - Great for repairs, crafting, prototyping, and creative projects

How to Use Polymorph

What You Need:

  • Polymorph pellets
  • Hot water (around 60°C/140°F - about as hot as a very hot bath)
  • A heat-safe container or bowl
  • Tongs or spoon for handling

Simple Instructions:

Step 1: Heat the Water

  • Heat water to around 60°C (you can use very hot tap water or boil water then let it cool slightly)
  • Pour the hot water into a bowl

Step 2: Add the Pellets

  • Drop the white polymorph pellets into the hot water
  • Wait about 1 minute - you'll see the pellets turn from white to completely clear
  • When they're clear and starting to stick together, they're ready

Step 3: Shape It

  • Carefully remove the clear, soft plastic with tongs (it will be warm but not burning hot)
  • Quickly mold it with your hands into whatever shape you need
  • You have about 2-3 minutes of working time before it starts to harden

Step 4: Let It Cool

  • Once you're happy with the shape, let it cool for a few minutes
  • It will turn white again and become hard plastic

Pro Tips:

  • Not happy with your creation? Just put it back in hot water and start over!
  • Want color? Add food coloring, paint powder, or alcohol ink to the hot water
  • Making something detailed? Use tools like sculpting tools or even kitchen utensils while the plastic is soft
  • Need it stronger? Make the walls thicker when molding

Perfect For:

  • Making custom handles or grips
  • Creating prototypes and models
  • Arts and crafts projects
  • Custom brackets and mounts
  • Educational projects
  • Replacement parts

Polymorph is incredibly forgiving - if you mess up, just reheat and try again!
