A generous assortment of colourful craft feathers — lightweight, tactile, and immediately useful across a very wide range of craft, costume, and embellishment applications. The multicolour selection gives a varied, vibrant mix of colours and sizes in a single pack, making it a practical all-in-one addition to any craft stash without the need to source individual feather colours separately.

Feathers bring a quality of texture, movement, and natural character to craft work that no printed or woven material can replicate. They catch light, respond to air currents, and have an inherent three-dimensional quality that adds immediate visual interest to any surface they are applied to. The lightweight nature of craft feathers means they can be glued, stitched, pinned, or wired onto almost any surface without adding weight or bulk to the finished piece.

Common uses include costume and theatrical embellishment for masks, headpieces, and carnival dress; hat and millinery decoration; collage and mixed media artwork; greetings cards; scrapbooking; dream catchers; children's craft and school projects; party decorations; wreaths and seasonal display; and any project where a natural, tactile decorative element is needed. The assorted mix of colours and sizes within the pack gives flexibility to use larger feathers as focal elements and smaller ones as fill and detail.

How are craft feathers attached?
PVA glue, craft glue, and hot glue all bond feathers effectively to card, paper, fabric, and most craft surfaces. For fabric applications, sewing through the quill or wrapping with thread gives a more secure result than glue alone. Feathers can also be wired into floral arrangements and wreaths, or pinned to fabric for removable costume applications.

Are they suitable for children's craft?
Yes — craft feathers are a popular children's craft material and are suitable for supervised use across a wide age range. As with all small craft materials, they are not suitable for unsupervised use by children under 3 years.

Can they be dyed or painted?
Yes — natural feathers accept fabric dye, acrylic paint, and spray paint. Watercolour and watery media can cause the feather to mat and lose its shape, so drier application methods give better results.
