The paper is 70gsm Clairefontaine origami paper — thin, flexible, and precisely cut, with the characteristics needed for clean, accurate folding: it creases crisply without cracking, holds its shape through complex sequences of folds, and the pre-printed decorative patterns on the front are positioned specifically to enhance the finished model rather than simply decorate the sheet. The plain backs keep the interior of folds clean and uncluttered.
Each kit contains 60 sheets across three sizes — 10 x 10cm, 15 x 15cm, and 20 x 20cm — giving 20 sheets per size. Each size contains 5 different illustrated designs repeated twice, allowing multiple models of different sizes to be made from the same kit. The three sizes also mean the same folding sequence produces models of different scales — from small decorative pieces to larger display models — from a single kit. Birds (95382C) — the sheets are decorated with bird-inspired patterns and illustrations in 5 different designs per size, giving a range of colourful, characterful finished bird models. Four different bird model types can be made from the kit.
Both kits include access to step-by-step video tutorials showing each fold sequence in detail — a significantly more useful learning resource than a flat printed instruction sheet for anyone new to origami.
