Super glue is one of those things you only think about when you need it urgently — and then can't find a tube that hasn't already dried out. That's exactly why the UHU Super Glue Twin Pack makes sense: two tubes of one of the most reliable super glues available, so you've always got a spare.
This is an extra fast and strong super glue in liquid form, designed to reach the smallest corners and joints — ideal for detailed repair work where precision matters. It's ideal for small-area bonds, making it well suited to craft repairs, model making, and fixing broken items around the home or studio.
It bonds many plastics including rigid PVC, ABS, polystyrene, acrylic resin, polycarbonate, and phenolic resins, as well as metals, porcelain, ceramics, rubber, and wood. Worth noting that it's only partially suitable for glass, as the bond can become brittle over time.
The glue polymerises within 60 seconds into a synthetic resin, creating a very strong bond between both parts. Apply as thinly as possible to one surface only — a little goes a long way, and too much actually slows the curing process down. If you're working in low humidity conditions, briefly breathing onto one of the surfaces before pressing together will help speed up the cure.
To open, turn the cap clockwise firmly onto the tube to pierce the membrane, then unscrew to reveal the applicator nozzle. After use, wipe the nozzle clean and replace the cap to keep the second tube ready for next time.
Comes as a twin pack of 2 x 3g tubes.
Important: Contains cyanoacrylate. Bonds skin and eyes in seconds — keep out of reach of children and avoid contact with skin and eyes during use.
Frequently Asked Questions
What materials will UHU Super Glue bond? It bonds a wide range of materials including many plastics (ABS, polystyrene, polycarbonate, acrylic), metals, porcelain, ceramics, rubber, and wood. It is not suitable for polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), silicone, PTFE, or Styrofoam, and is only partially suitable for glass.
How quickly does it set? Very quickly — you need to press the parts together immediately after applying. Full polymerisation into a firm bond takes around 60 seconds depending on the material and amount of glue used.
Why is less glue better? Cyanoacrylate super glues cure through contact with moisture. Applying too thick a layer actually slows the cure down. A thin coat on one surface only gives the fastest and strongest result.
What should I do if it bonds my skin? Soak the affected area in warm soapy water for as long as possible and gently prise apart without force, then moisturise the skin afterwards. Do not pull sharply.
How should I store it? Store in a dry, cool, frost-free place. Keeping it below 5°C in a refrigerator will maximise shelf life — which is another good reason to have a spare tube to hand.
