Speedball's Speedy-Carve Blocks are specialized relief printmaking materials featuring a soft, flexible surface that's easier to carve than traditional linoleum. Artists use lino-cutting tools to create designs in reverse on the block, then apply water-soluble or oil-based ink to the raised areas using a roller. Prints can be made on paper or fabric, either with a press or by hand.
