Inspired by traditional tailor's chalk, the Artgraf Tailor Shape is a rich, water-soluble block of pigment that offers a wonderfully intuitive and expressive way to draw and paint. Extremely soft to the touch, each block delivers a wide range of shades depending on how much water you use, from light, transparent tones through to deep, rich, opaque colour.
Used dry, the Tailor Shape works beautifully as a drawing medium in its own right. Add water and it behaves much like an ink, flowing fluidly across the page. Colour can be picked up directly from the block with a wet brush, much as you would with traditional watercolour paint, or the whole block can be used to draw and paint with directly.
This primary colour set contains Magenta, Yellow, and Blue — three bold, versatile shades that between them offer an enormous range of mixing possibilities. The three blocks come presented in a cork casing and each measures 4.45 x 5.08cm.
