“Sea Urchins” was the runner up in Peak District Yarns’ 2022/23 Design-a-Skein competition, inspired by a picture submitted by a customer.
The subtle tones in the handful of sea urchin shells translated really well into this pastel colourway.
Shades of dusky pinks, greys, and rust are randomly applied leaving plenty of space for the bare yarn to peek through. Hand dyed onto a super-soft merino (80%) and nylon (20%) high twist sock yarn.
Machine washable on a gentle 30 degree wool cycle.
